Gino’s Subs
A heritage-inspired sandwich-shop experience with an illustrated identity, searchable menu, and generous food photography.
Translate a heritage direction into a usable site
Gino’s Subs explores an expressive sandwich-shop identity with an illustrated mark, strong typography, generous food imagery, and a heritage-inspired presentation. The goal was to make the direction feel consistent across a complete browsing experience rather than stopping at a logo treatment or homepage mockup.
Give the menu its own space
A searchable menu and category controls make browsing a focused task. Supporting routes give the shop story, group-order guidance, merchandise, visit details, and careers their own context. Shared navigation lets a visitor move between practical information and the brand story without losing their place.
Design the same journey for a phone
The responsive layout reflows the menu and supporting content for narrow screens. The archive keeps the menu controls and navigation available as working browser interactions. Food photography supports recognition and atmosphere while readable labels explain what each section offers.
Preserve interaction without implying live service
The published archive is a self-contained demonstration. Sample actions do not place orders, make payments, or contact the business. Its separate source backup preserves the original implementation, while the demonstration edition keeps the browsable design accessible from the portfolio.
Scope and evidence
This project demonstrates a restaurant design direction and frontend implementation, not an operational ordering platform. The archive was built and checked as part of the website preservation work. Business approval, launch, measured conversion results, and physical-device acceptance are separate from that evidence.
Scope & evidence
Explore menu discovery and the restaurant journey in a self-contained demonstration. Sample actions do not place orders or contact the business.
